She received her Certified Picture Framer Designation at the PPFA Educational Conference in Chicago in 1988.
In these early years, Sandra traveled frequently to Professional Picture Framer Association trade shows and events all across the country. Her Southern California country gift store transformed into The Corona Gallery and then into Art to be Framed in the DeVargas Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 1979, Sandra hit the ground running when when she realized her gift for picture framing and dipped her toes into the world of business ownership. Good words to describe Sandra are ‘venerable’ and ‘seasoned.’
